Ayumi Horie Dry Throwing Video 

Ayumi Horie is a studio potter working in the Hudson Valley in upstate New York.  She is a solid voice in American clay today.  She has set a high standard for design, professionalism and using the internet as a promotional tool.  You can see her website here.   Ayumi teaches workshops across the United States, and is known for using a throwing technique that doesn't require water.   This technique is a mixture of trimming, working on a wooden lathe and using the plastic properties of soft clay.   Here is a great video of Ayumi Horie demo-ing her dry throwing technique.
