Red Lodge Clay Center

   Red Lodge Clay Center is in Red Lodge, Montana.  There are two residency programs available. A long-term residency program of one year is offered along with short-term residencies from one week to up to eight weeks. The short-term residencies  are based on written proposals from the artists. Studio spaced is provided for these residents, but housing is an additional cost. Each long-term resident is required to work twenty hours a week for Red Lodge, this could included teaching classes, working in the gallery and taking care of the studio in return they are given a monthly stipend.  Housing, studio space and utilities are all included in the long-term program. Though the cost of materials and firings are left to the resident.  The kilns offered are electric kilns, Bailey trackless car kiln, train style wood kiln, and a soda kiln.
